BURN: PALO SANTO + FEATHER

Shamans knew what they were onto when they burned palo santo during healing rituals: this holy wood comes with great energizing power and has a knack for warding off impending danger and illnesses. When burned, its sweet citrus notes embrace and purify the mind, opening it to change and triggering an endless pool of creativity.

To burn, place in a fire-proof bowl and apply a flame to the stick. Wave the smudge feather above, gently reducing the flame to embers and swirling the smoke to wherever you need a dose of positive energy. (PS. Be careful and keep those fingers + all flammable objects at a distance!)

STONE: AMETHYST

As precious as stones come, the amethyst is a mighty gem with an ability to strengthen spirituality, improve immunity, and has been credited to heal everything related to the mind. With its deep, clear purple hues, it seeks to pacify, provide clarity, and set the stage for meditation, establishing a more positive outlook for minds open to complete intellectual freedom. As a result, its calming features help boost creativity, imagination, and focused thinking — all essential tools for your creative success.
